In the beginning, the Community for the Promotion of Agropastoral and Village Health of Cameroon,

Was an Association in accordance with the provisions of Law N°053/90 of December 19, 1990, on freedom of Association in Cameroon. It was legalized on April 26, 2006, following the receipt of declaration N°000413/RDA/JO6/BAPP.

It is distinguished by its dynamism and its commitment to the socio-economic and humanitarian cause in Cameroon and in Africa. It has made poverty reduction and the health of rural populations its main focus. Its actions in the field are certainly discreet, but intense, effective and appreciated by the beneficiaries as well as by the public opinion. After twelve years of well accomplished activities in the field, the dynamism of the association does not leave the government indifferent. It meets all the conditions to access the privileged status of Non-Governmental Organization, obtained by Order No. 00000032/SG/DAP/SDLP/SONG of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Decentralization (MINATD) of 02 February 2018. The NGO COPASVIC thus makes its entry into the closed circle of Non-Governmental Organizations of local development recognized by the government of the Republic.

Our Vision
The fight against poverty, according to the vision of COPASVIC, is the definition and implementation of agropastoral initiatives, which are likely to guarantee or strengthen food security. This vision also makes the direct link between production, health and well-being of the populations.
Indeed, the productive capacity of populations depends on their mental and physiological health. This is why it is rightly said that there can be no development without the health of the population.

The economic, social and humanitarian role of COPASVIC finds its full meaning here, because it is based on the notion of participatory development, and therefore sustainable. Under the impulse of its indefatigable Founding President, the NGO COPASVIC has set itself the following global objectives

The promotion of development at the service of mankind, and particularly the support of public authorities in the fight against poverty and the improvement of the living conditions of vulnerable populations, and to which it is advisable to associate the preservation of village health and the education of these populations, the finality being to ensure their autonomy and their full blossoming in the environment where they live, through the practice of agro-pastoral, sanitary, water and sanitation activities, and the support and accompaniment of the grassroots groups in the income-generating activities Within the framework of community development projects, its action also aims to strengthen local capacities by supporting village planning processes, functional literacy, training (processing of agricultural products, education, etc.), the realization of infrastructures, etc.roduits agricoles, éducation, etc.), la réalisation des infrastructures, etc.
